Country 64/196: Montenegro. From fjord-like bays on its rugged coast to brutalist tower blocks in the quiet capital, to budget skiing deep in the interior, make the most of Montenegro before a relatively well-kept secret inevitably joins the EU and turns into nearby Croatia. Walled Kotor, although popular with colossal cruise ships, maintains its traditional charm while those who enjoy a capital city less travelled will have Podgorica all to themselves.
