Country 68/196: The Netherlands. Tallest citizens, yes, highest percentage of English as a second language speakers, yes, most liberal country in the world, quite possibly, Dutch culture is a fantastic amalgamation of old naval, artistic, and architectural heritage with an almost utopian capital where anything goes. The highest concentration of museums per square metre of any city in the world, Amsterdam hosts two of the very best in the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. However, if you can drag yourself away from the Red-Light District, a visit to the beautiful cities of Delft and Utrecht is essential as is buying a Pasha’s kebab with one foot in The Netherlands and the other in Belgium at Baarle-Nassau.
