Country 29/196: Honduras. Trying to find positive stories about trips through Honduras is not an easy task. Often flown over by backpackers, I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the countryside that a lot were missing out on. Whilst its scuba schools are relatively well known, its micro-breweries and caerulein-tinted lakes are not and there is a lot more to do in this oft-maligned nation other than get shot. Don’t get me wrong, the country has a long way to go before you would want to spend every summer holiday there, but things are on the up – despite what Ross Kemp says.
